WEEK 5: OPENING YOUR SPIRITUAL EYES
In week 5 - Living in the Light
Your new understanding, your new perspective of approaching all life experiences from a spiritual point of view, will increase, transforming your awareness and consciousness from a physical understanding (the physical mind of ego) of the world around you to the spirit-led mind—the knowing of Spirit. You become aware that your physical body is protected by an energy that acts as a shield to protect it from the higher vibration of Spirit as it begins to awaken, as you grow in your awareness of who you are. You also become aware that spiritual awakening is a lifetime pursuit—a path of learning and remembrance that requires patience, perseverance, and endurance. One of the "tools" you discover to help you along your journey is the art of meditation - the ability to quiet the physical mind and connect with the inspiration, guidance, and knowledge that is often revealed as you learn how to enter the silence within, You begin to see a much larger picture than ever before—an understanding of the inseparable connection of all life within the One Spirit. You are beginning to understand Oneness.
A NEW PERSPECTIVE - The Transformation from Ego to Spirit
As you continue to awaken to an understanding of who you are, a transformation occurs within you that changes how you look at and understand yourself, others, and the world around you.
This new perspective comes about as you begin to change the way you look at your life and all that you think, say, and do from a physical understanding (the ego-influenced physical mind) to the universal understanding of Spirit (approaching all aspects of life from the perspective of unconditional love).
This shift from the physical viewpoint of ego to the universal understanding of Spirit is a gradual process of carefully orchestrated events and circumstances and the knowledge and awareness this change creates within you.
You begin to see a much larger picture, which contains an understanding of the reason and purpose for everything that has occurred in the past and is now occurring in your life.

Understanding the presence of and purpose for Spiritual Veils.
What is a spiritual veil? My definition of a veil is comparing it to a mist in front of your hat gently falls to earth. It has safely surrounded you, until you have raised your level of awareness to a higher consciousness. For me, it was the opening of a window or blind, allowing and letting in more light and energy. My senses (gut instincts), hearing became more attuned to others energy. This allowed me to guide them to become more in-tuned to themselves, relate what does not serve and bring back joy!
To know that from deep within all that was and is intuitively is growing strong in myself. I sense, feel, trust and embrace all that is shared by my guides and mentors as my frequencies and energy levels are raised to when the final veil is lifted.

Shifting to a Heart-Led Life
One of the biggest shifts you can make towards Spiritual Consciousness is from ego to spirit led thoughts, actions, feelings and behaviours. Shift your focus to heart-led thoughts and let the mind serve the heart. It simply takes awareness to make that shift each time and soon enough it will be natural.

A lifetime pursuit - learning patience, perseverance, and endurance.
Do you remember when you first crawled, walked, or said your first words? Or even better, do you remember your first breath? I don’t either! Most of us can’t recall these moments, but I bet you’ve witnessed others take their first breath, utter their first words, or take their first steps. The excitement was in the air. The cheers, the laughter, and the energy surrounding you were all filled with joy. No one could predict the exact moment you decided to walk. You were patient, waiting for the divine timing of that first step.
Reflecting on all the steps you’ve taken up until this very moment is an incredible achievement—one of endurance, patience, and perseverance. The natural inclination to grow and evolve is within us all. What doesn’t feel true is the idea of stopping that growth. Imagine if your spirit had said, “You’re never going to learn to walk. Stay the same. Sit, maybe crawl, but whatever you do, don’t walk. Stay this way for the next 90 years. Don’t grow. Let others transport you everywhere, but only to where they want to go, not where you desire.” That feels icky, sticky and dark.
Please keep walking! Keep changing and evolving. There is only one of you, and you are amazing. Be patient with your unfolding, as you are destined to make a mighty difference on this planet for good. You have more love to give than you realize. One baby step at a time. You’ve so got this.
Share your love. Share your light. Share your walk.

Learning and practicing the art of Meditation.
Meditation takes you out of your physical mind and the concept of physical time and puts you into a spiritual state of consciousness that the ego cannot enter. True meditation occurs when all physical thoughts are set aside, shutting down the endless chatter. Within the silence, there is no thought, only peace, love, and a feeling of connection with everything.
Spirit flows within the silence, often revealing answers to questions, enhancing emotional and mental health and well-being, and accessing inspiration and guidance. You learn how to control your physical thoughts. Once this becomes a part of your expanding consciousness, ego will no longer have the license to enter or influence your thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors, for it cannot bridge the gap from physical thought to the "feelings" that are the language of Spirit.
Practicing meditation will take time, effort, and dedication, but it is within reach of anyone who desires to experience the transformational energy that meditation accesses. Nothing enters your consciousness unless you choose to allow it to enter. You will learn to live in the moment, the "Now," where you make choices that create each step of your journey and all that you will experience to discover who you are.
The process of mastering meditation begins with you—when you make a conscious choice to make meditation a vital part of your everyday activities. With time and experience, you will reach a level of consciousness where you can be in a noisy crowd and still be in the silence and stillness within.
Beginning to experience Oneness.
As I bean to experience Oneness, I began to look at myself and my relationship with Earth. By being aware of man's interaction and her evolving changes that we see and feel with Earth. We are apart of the ongoing renewal of ourselves both physically and spiritually on Earth. With a. new perspective that all things are connected. I felt increased energy of all things around me and within. Understanding energy and the ability to see it flow, and to feel it when shared from one human to another. Energy is abundant and can be felt too from nature, earth elements, such as the beat of a tree's heart and the wind that you invite to release all that does not serve you. We are energy and all in earth has it's own energy.
Who I am is evolving, the same as the earth travels daily around the sun. New insights, new paths of enlightenment, and so importantly understanding and trust in myself, as I move forward to being Me, One as Spirit.

Week 5 Summary - Opening Your Spiritual Eyes - Living in the Light.
Understanding who you are and your progress in spiritual awakening has given you a new perspective, transforming your consciousness from a physical ego-influenced point of view to a spiritual understanding of everything you will create and experience. As you raise awareness and understanding of who you are, the veils are removed.
Spiritual awakening is a lifetime pursuit of patience, perseverance, and endurance: a step-by-step process of discovery and remembrance. Learning and practicing meditation daily takes you out of your physical mind into the silence and stillness where inspiration and knowledge of who you are reside. Your consciousness expands as you remember your inseparable connection with all life and the One Spirit—you are beginning to understand Oneness.
